— I’m delighted to share a little more and invite you to join us.
On Thursday 24th September 2026, I’ll be hosting the first Ellev8 Day in The Gathering at Knepp in West Sussex — one of the most extraordinary rewilding projects in Europe.
The day will bring together a maximum of 24 thoughtful women from different fields for a gathering exploring Courage, Curiosity, and Connection for such a time as this.
Not a conference.
Not a retreat.
More a thoughtfully curated salon in nature — inspired as much by gatherings like the Aspen Ideas Festival as by the intimacy of great conversations around a table.
The inspiration for the day comes partly from Knepp itself.
When conventional farming stopped working, Knepp had the courage to experiment with something radically different. What followed transformed not only the land, but the thinking around it.
It strikes me that many of the most important shifts in history — in science, leadership, creativity, and society — begin with a conversation, an experiment, or a small group of people willing to think differently about what’s possible.
And perhaps Ellev8 Day is an experiment too.
The Day...
The day will begin with tea, coffee, fruit, and Knepp brownies on arrival, before we are introduced to the remarkable story of Knepp and its philosophy of courageous experimentation and regeneration.
Throughout the day, women within the gathering will share personal reflections and experiences inspired by the themes of Courage, Curiosity, and Connection, leading into thoughtful small-group explorations and some very novel conversational experiences.
Lunch will continue the theme as we gather around a Feast of Knepp produce in the Wilding Kitchen next to The Gathering — beautiful food shared in good company and thoughtful conversation.
There will also be space for walking conversations in nature, reflection, stillness, and connection.
The day runs from 10am until 5.30pm.
For those who would like to linger a little longer, we will round off the day with locally sourced refreshments, including excellent sparkling wine, and more relaxed conversation together.
Every participant will also receive an extremely generous and special Ellev8 Day gift bag.
Transport
Parking is available at Knepp.
The nearest station is Horsham, which has a taxi rank, and if enough participants require transport, I will arrange a shuttle service.

Investment
The full investment for Ellev8 Day is £397.
However, the first 8 women to join will be welcomed as Founding Participants at a special investment of £197. (NOW SOLD OUT)
After that, the investment will gradually increase as each further group of 8 participants joins the gathering.
